I made some changes on a certain event(changed date), click update.. it loads for a while then Google Chrome shows me

“The mywebsite.com page isn’t working

mywebsite.com didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”

**After I refresh that error, It didn’t saved the changes and redirected me to “wp-admin/post.php”

It’s the same with creating an event. I tried to edit some of my Pages and it saved successfully. I edited events last week, and there’s no problem. I was thinking maybe it updated my copy of EE and there’s some conflict. I’m not sure though.

This is kinda urgent because the event I’m editing will be happening 2 days from now. I know I don’t have the right to demand for urgency, but please help me.

After gazillion of research, trial and error. I managed to trace the problem. The problem is in our Network, because I tried connecting to a 4G or other Internet Connection then it saved. My colleague says he cant use/access port 8080 in our network that’s what trigger me to use other internet connection.

Is there any proper explanation for this? I mean I know it’s our network issue but it only affects the EE Events(EDIT,CREATE,UPDATE), other POSTS, PAGES, SETTINGS(Event Espress or WordPress) can be saved without problem. Is there a specific port where EE events is using?

No, there is no specific port for EE.

What kind of network are you running?

I’m assuming as you can not access port 8080 then your behind some form of firewall? If so have you checked (or asked IT to do it for you) within the firewall logs to see if the connection is being blocked?
