Hello, We have WP 3.8.1, Event Espresso Version 3.1.36.2.B, Event Espresso Multi Event Registration Version 1.0.4, Event Espresso Volume Discount 0.4. |
Hi MAGentix, We’ll do our best to help ๐ Looking at your account the license key has been assigned to what I assume is a staging server (based on the current URL). I will reset the license key, but it will need to be removed (Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the key and save the settings) from that server and used on the live server. Otherwise you’ll receive the same error message the next time the sites ping EventEspresso for updates. The license key can only be used within a single domain for automatic upgrades. We advise not to input the license key on staging servers and update Event Espresso manually there.
There will not be any unfinished updates, the license key is checked long before any updates are downloaded so no changes will have been made to your install. I’m unsure why you can not see different pricing. Have you modified any of the templates? Where is it that people can not see the multiple prices? Could you link us to the page so we can view it please? |

Hello, I will need to read your message again to understand the first part ๐ Here is a link to the registration page for one of our event. It’s the same for the 3 of them though. I didn’t modify the template. |

Re: the first part of the email, I erased the Site License Key and saved the empty box. |
You license is now linked to your current domain so you should now be able to update ๐ The registration page linked to is not a standard Event Espresso page, did you have a developer setup Event Espresso? |

Thanks for the license. Updates have been made! For the other point, I’m not sure to understand what you mean. We asked someone to design a new registration page. |
The registration page you are using is using WP Posts. The default registration page for that event is http://magentix.ca/event-registration/?ee=12 Notice that page has Multiple Pricing within that page. So this is due to the way that custom registration page has been set up. It looks like the developer has used the shortcode [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=XX] which will not show Multiple prices. This may need to be changed to [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=XX] which shows the price dropdown (plus other information) This is not due to the Event Espresso update as these shortcodes have not changed during the updates. If you are unsure you may need to consult the original developer who setup the page template. Hope that helps ๐ |

O.k. Now I understand the difference the default event page and the customized. I can see that on the default page, all the options are there. Thanks |
Apologies. I typed the same shortcode out the second time. The current shortcode is likely [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=XX] You could try [ESPRESSO_REG_PAGE event_id=XX] event_id=XX would need to be the ID of the actual event, not ‘XX’. |

๐ Thank you so much for all your clear explanations and your quick answers. If you have another idea, please let me know. |
No Problem at all. Basically, this depends entirely on how the developer has constructed that template. Between 3.1.36.2 and 3.1.36.4 there have not been significant changes that would (to my knowledge) cause this. The default EE templates are working as expected, so this ‘should’ be a simple case of updating that template to work correctly, but as I didn’t write it there could be multiple different options used. Please do let us know how you get on with this, it would be interesting to know what the cause was ๐ |

Good morning, Programmer will work on that today. Thanks! |
You are welcome. |

Hi, Problem solved. |
No problem ๐ Glad it’s all working, I’ll mark this thread resolved. |
