our CORE files download and install includes a folder called “vendor” with lots of very odd named folders and files that are causing security bells to go off. I looked at your main download file on your website – and these files are in there too. Are these legit and why are they causing security issues for my scanners.?

You can check the download here. If you see the files are in there, then it is safe.

Hi there,
The vendor folder is what most use for ‘dependencies’ (3rd party libraries) installed when using Composer, its normal and you will find it in many larger plugins like Event Espresso.
When you say its causing issues with security scanners, what are those file being flagged for? I don’t see issues on my sites when scanned so just double checking.
