Am I missing something, or is it not possible to make a copy of an event from the events menu in EE4. This would save me a huge amount of time, as I have many events with similar parameters, but different titles and descriptions. |
Sorry! That feature didn’t make it in, yet. Please vote for the features are most important to your business using this form: https://eventespresso.com/ee4-add-ons-feature-requests/ Thanks! |

Hi Tony, A little follow up on this: Event Espresso 4.3 and up includes a copy event feature. |

September 24, 2014 at 10:44 am Hi Sean, If you edit the event you wish to duplicate, under the event name you will find a ‘Duplicate Event’ button – http://take.ms/kQ2JT Click that to duplicate the event and you’ll be taken directly to the new event, you should see **DUPLICATE** within the event name – http://take.ms/ygzXf You will like want to change the event name, and the permalink for that duplicate event too. |

September 24, 2014 at 11:38 am Do you have any Permalink editing plugins? This can be either a plugin or theme conflict, if you load up Chrome, open Chrome Dev tools and then load the Event Editor, look in the console tab, are there are Fatal Errors? |

re: plugins, I don’t believe so. I do see them listed in posts: http://take.ms/ItXO1 Re: Dev tools, in the console tab, I see; Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: print, not all, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi) I also see a reference error: |

September 25, 2014 at 10:23 am Also, on all event pages, I see part of the page appearing in the drop-down area. Could this be a related issue? http://take.ms/dZNz3 |
September 25, 2014 at 10:34 am Hi Sean, It should look like this: http://cl.ly/image/142j0z2L3a23 Do you have pretty permalinks enabled? Try browsing to Settings –> Permalinks and it should refresh them. If that does not help, then try temporarily deactivating all WordPress plugins and reactivating Event Espresso and check an existing event again. — |

September 25, 2014 at 10:46 am That worked! I found it was an SEO plugin causing the conflict. I’ll see if I can change some of the settings within it to avoid the conflict or find another plugin. Thanks! |
September 25, 2014 at 11:38 am Hi, Could you please share the name of the plugin? This will help other members. Thanks! — |

All In One SEO Pack – Version 2.2.3.1. I submitted a contact form to the publisher to see if any settings I can change to resolve this. Otherwise, it’ll remain deactivated. If you have any other SEO plugins that work well with EE4, it would be appreciated. Also, we’re using an older theme. So, it could be the way our theme interacts with the plugin. So, other users may not experience this issue. I’d be interested to see if you experience the same result on your end. Thank you for your assistance! |
Hi, Please try this settings for a workaround for All in One SEO: http://cl.ly/image/341935411Q24 The duplicate button should then load: http://cl.ly/image/1a3U3z0t193a — |
