Hi there,

We do not have migration scripts for EE4 -> EE3 so any events from EE4 will not be migrated to EE3 but you can switch baqck to EE3 if preferred.

If you migrated FROM EE3 to EE4 then the previous events you had in EE will still be there, but not new events created in EE4.

So before moving forward, did you migrate over from EE3 or is this a clean install?

As it’s a clean install we have feautres to completely remove EE4 from the database and you can then install EE3 if preferred, you will need to manually adjust the critical pages shortcodes as EE3 and EE4 use different shortcodes.

Will there be more functions added to 4.

EE4 is the ‘newest’ version of Event Espresso and is the version we will focus on adding new features to, so yes.

Event Espresso will eventually be phased out in favour of EE4 but note this will not happen until EE4 covers all of the same use cases EE3 does.

I especially have problems when I have set filters to see payments that when I go back the filters reset every time.

We have a ticket to improve this however for now you can open up the Registrations/Transactions etc within a new tab from the filtered table to avoid this.
