I’ve skimmed a lot of the topics and the lite software itself and am befuddled enough it might just be easier for me to ask. I’m the organizer and host for a gaming convention and would like software to handle the show. What I’m looking for would need to address the following: Is this something this software can manage? |

Hello Nate,
Yep this is standard, the patron purchases the ticket and is logged as an “attendee” in the system. The patron is not registered as a WordPress user though.
This is something we are looking into for future releases, but currently isnt standard. Each event is treated separately. What we are looking to do is have a primary event that is required in order for users to register for secondary events.
Yes that is possible with the Roles and Permissions Basic and Pro add ons Feel free to ask more questions 🙂 |

The registration is HUGE, but I think for the short term I can finagle something functional out of this. These options that are present are functional in the Basic edition then? |

Hi Nate,
If you mean the free Lite version, then only the standard allowing someone to purchase a ticket, the “authorized users” is part of one of our premium add ons the Roles & Permissions Pro. The Pro is available with our Developer licence or can be purchased separately alongside a Personal or Business licence. |

Alright~ At the moment then probably have to pass on purchasing a license; I’ll check back in periodically and when the primary/secondary support is in or something that can model a convention schedule is in I’ll take a closer look at it. |
Hi Nate, Thank you for your interest in Event Espresso. If we can answer anymore questions for you, please let us know. |
