I need immediate help with a problem occurring with my event espresso platform. I have created several events, and need them all to be on display as active, so our customers can purchase their tickets. I select “now” for “start date of sale”, or try adjusting the dates to get a different response, but they still say “upcoming”. Only one event is live. Another problem occurring is that several others were active just yesterday, and have now changed to inactive or upcoming without me changing anything.
Thank you so much for helping resolve these issues.

Hi there,

An active event is where today’s days/time is between the datetime ‘Event Start’ date and ‘Event Date’ settings, meaning the event is happening right now.

An upcoming event is where today’s date is before the Event Start date, meaning the event hasn’t start and it’s upcoming.

Both of those statuses can have open registrations, which depends on the ticket sale start and sell until dates, you don’t need all of your events to be ‘active’ and generall most will be upcoming as its only events that are happening that are ‘active’.

So, may I ask what issue you are running into?

Ignoring the status itself for a second, why can’t your users register? All of your events are private currently, so I can’t view them.
