Hi,
We are looking into switching from Constant Contact and EventSpot to Mail Chimp and Event Espresso. I have several thousand contacts already listed in my databases. Would I be able to upload contacts from my current database directly into Event Espresso from an excel file?

Hi margaret,
How are you today?
What would be your goal for importing all your contacts into Event Espresso? If you want to retain that data for marketing purposes, it would be easy enough just to save those contacts in MailChimp so you can contact those people about your future events.
Contacts need to be associated to an registration for a specific event and ticket. We don’t necessarily have a way to import contacts so it’s probably best to start fresh with EE so that your contact registration history is synced with their contact information.
Does that make sense?
