When I go to EE > Registrations > Contact List (3rd tab), I notice that the fields for Address, City, State/Province Country are completely blank. When registrations are created, this information is collected. Could you help populate these fields? Is there a way that Zip Code could be displayed too?

Thanks!

Hi there,

When registrations are created, this information is collected. Could you help populate these fields?

At what point during the registration is that info collected?

Is on the first attendee information step where they enter the name after selecting tickets, or on the payment info?

If the payment step that is separate from the registration info (and therefore contact info), its passed to the payment merchant and not the registration.

Can you link me to an event I can run a test registration on to view your set up?

After clicking “Register Now” on the front-end and fill out the 2nd form “Payment Options”. Here is a link to one event: https://getbigorgohome.com/million-dollar-weekend/

Yeah, that’s the payment details section and those address fields are sent to the payment processor, they are not used by EE.

To collect the address info for the registrants you’ll need to edit the event and enable the ‘Address Information’ question group for at least the ‘Primary Registrant’ – http://take.ms/1CBvc (the top section of that screenshot)

Great! Last question. Is there a way for Zipcode to display in the Contact List?

Thank you.

You mean here? – http://take.ms/nyird

If so, yes it’s possible. I can give you an example to do the above but you may need the help of a developer if you need something more:

You can add that snippet to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have a tutorial on how to create one here:

Tony, thank you for your response. Yes, the first link you shared is what I need. Will this require a developer? If not, what are the steps I should follow.

Thank you.

Hi there,

A developer is recommended, however, adding the code to your site can be done by following the steps outlined here:
