I am unable to log into my event espresso App. This issue just started a couple of days ago. I did change my admin email, but I have two admin accounts and neither can log in. I am getting “Connection error. Unable to load data.”
I’ve gone through the troubleshooting steps. I’ve installed the REST API log and see no errors but it does log.
it was working a few days ago. I did change to PHP8.1, tried reverting back and no luck.
Also tried deactivating all plug-ins but Event espresso ones still no luck.
We’ve just pushed an update out for Event Espresso, version 5.0.6 which includes a fix that affected some servers.
A fatal error would be thrown on the REST API request which would then show up in the app as a credentials mismatch error, the latest version should fix that.
Can ou update to the latest version and see if you run into the same issue?
If you don’t see the update available on your site just yet then go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, make no changes and just hit save to force an update check.
