Hi,

Even after HOURS of search, I couldn’t find a proper instruction on how to set up the event system to be compatible with my mobile. I’ve already set up JSON API as well. When I try to test the connectivity with this link it gives me a 404 error:

http://events.islamicmuseum.org.au/gala/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json

The wordpress installation location is:

http://events.islamicmuseum.org.au/gala

Can you please guide me as in how to set up the event system where I can access using the mobile app?

Hi,

In the JSON API plugin settings, can you clarify that:

“Allow Public API Access?” is set to Allow?

“API Session Timeout After” is set to a reasonable amount (personally I set it to never)?

Also, is this is a multi-site install?

1. Allow Public Access is set to “Allow”
2. Session time out is set to “Never”
3. It is NOT a multi-site install.

But still it’s giving me a 404 error. I need to sort this ASAP.

Hi,

What are your permalinks settings? Is it set to default or Post name?

If it is default please try with a different permalink setting. If it is already something else please “flush” your permalinks by pressing the save button on the Permalinks page.

Nope. Didn’t find a luck with that. It’s already set up to post name. To ‘flush’ it I saved it again. But didn’t work out. What would be the reason?

I’m not sure. I’ve tried to duplicate your set up (sub-domain and sub directory) to see if the issue occurs for me and the only thing that seemed to cause it was the permalinks.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are required please.

Dean,

I’ve submitted the login details. Can you please look into the matter and resolve it?

Thanks!

I *thought* I had responded to this, so if this becomes a duplicate then my apologies.

Basically, I have looked at the site and cannot see any obvious issues.

What I would suggest is updating both the Ticketing addon and the JSON API addon as they both need updating.

IF this somehow resolves the issue, then good. Otherwise let me know and I will request the JSON API developer to weigh in on this as from everything I am seeing it should work.
