On the event http://thebrownstoneny.org/events/young-professionals-sukkot-party/ the event is on October 3rd, and we started ticket sales on September 16th. But the date SEP 16 is highlighted at the top. THis is an insignificant date, and we want it hidden. The date October 3 – the important date of the event, is in tiny letters at the bottom. We want this highlighted.

Am I doing something wrong? I created a General Admission ticket that is on sale from September 16th until October 3rd, and created an event datetime on October 3rd from 9pm to 11:55pm.

Hi there,

Event Espresso uses your sites theme to output the event details, whats happening in the above image is your theme is outputting the events post date (the date the event was created) for each of the Event Espresso events. This works fine for standard posts, but the post date of an EE event is not the event date and so looks confusing.

To change this to use the event date would require a custom template for the theme which is only output for EE events. Do you have a developer who currently works on the theme?

We had a developer but I manage the site now. I will see if I can handle it, or contact the original developer.

Thank you for pointing me in the correct direction.
