Running the latest editions of EE, WP, and Storefront (among other things) and I’m running into an issue where EE is causing a conflict with something in Storefront, causing the customizer to not load correctly. If I disable EE the problem goes away immediately.
I know this might be one of those things that has a million possible causes and EE is going to point me back to WooThemes… but they already sent me here. 🙂
There’s a bug report that’s been filed for the developer team thad deals with Event Espresso’s custom post type strategy class that’s affecting the customizer.
It may take some time to fix the bug, and you can work around it by going to WP > Appearance > Menus and removing all the menu items that are of the type Events and replace them with menu items made from Custom Links.
Update: The bug in the Custom Post Type strategy class is fixed and the fix was included in the latest update of Event Espresso 4. So after you update you’ll be able to use Event menu item types and not break the Customizer.
