After someone registers for our event the confirmation email is failing. Below is the error message.
Message was not executed successfully.
Messenger and Message Type were valid and active, but the messenger send method failed.
The email did not send successfully.
The WordPress wp_mail function is used for sending mails but does not give any useful information when an email fails to send.
It is possible the “to” address (xxxxx@gmail.com) or “from” address (xxxx@teamkaren.org) is invalid.
The email addresses are accurate.
Also, is there a way to set these emails to generate and send as soon as the registration is complete?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message template -> Registration Approved -> Edit Registrant
You’ll see a section to send a test email in the sidebar, if you try sending an email using that, does it work then?
Are other emails working on the site, for example, password resets or emails sent using a plugin such as WP Test Email?

Yes, go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.
Set the ‘Generate and send all messages’ option to ‘On same request’ and save.
