Situation: Attendees can purchase one of three main tickets to an event based on their professional level (ie Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Fellow). We cannot have one general ticket as it’s a medical course. We offer the ability to purchase other products like the previous year’s course videos at discount when purchasing a ticket for this year’s course. Is it possible to require at least 1 of the 3 main tickets be purchased in order to add the previous year’s video to the registration?
I’ve seen threads on the topic but they’re very old and I’m wondering if this ability has been added. Thank you
We do not currently have any kind of conditional logic that can be applied to the ticket selector/registration forms within Event Espresso.
How are you adding the video to the registration currently?
The only way I can think of doing it with Event Espresso out of the box would be with an additional ticket type for each of the 3 ‘main’ tickets you have already, basically a duplicate of teach on with ‘+ Video’ in the ticket name and include the video within the price for that ticket type.
Hi Tony, currently we have the 3 main tickets listed, with the optional add ons as separate tickets; your idea of adding a main ticket with the video add on included would work, but the client has a few add on options that I think would make it too cluttered (they can add a printed syllabus, the video, or a video-audio combo).
Hasn’t been a huge problem and it’s stated on the page that any registrations that don’t include a ‘main ticket’ will be canceled but my client is always looking for ways to make it easier for registrants.
thank you for the quick response, though.
