Is there a way to add conditional questions for events? (for examples: If a user answers “no” nothing happens, but if they answer “yes” we open a required text field) https://dawesarb.org/learn/calendar/

Is there a way to make private events so that we (The Dawes Arboretum) can register people through the backend? We don’t need to show the event on the front end, but need to have the event so that we can register people for it, but we don’t see a “private” setting for events in the Event Espresso backend.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Jenna,

Currently Event Espresso does not support conditional questions, it is possible to do with the jQuery but would require some custom development.

Within EE3 there is no ‘private’ event option, however if you set the Event Status to ‘Waitlist’ the event will be hidden from the front end of the site, users can only access that event on the front-end if they have the full URL.

That setting can be found in the event editor, on the right in the sidebar you’ll see something like this – http://take.ms/yVa7k

Does that help?
