Our workshops (sold via EE4) are by default
“composite VAT products”:
Let’s say a workshop of 100 euro ( ex VAT) is divided into two parts.
part 1 40 euro ex 9% VAT
part 2 60 euro ex 21% VAT
TICKET:
Part 1 (9% VAT) 40 EX VAT => VAT 3.6
Part 2 (21% VAT) 60 EX VAT => VAT 12.6
VAT TOTAL: 16.2
TOTAL INCL VAT 116.2
While we have a workaround (using price modifiers / surcharge / order of application) to get the right numbers into the invoice, it feels more like a hack. Is there a better way to do this in EE4?
While it’s not clear what you’re asking, I can mention it’s possible to set more than one type of tax. So if you’re looking to not use surcharges and instead use individual tax amounts by setting up additional default prices, you could do that instead. You can set Pricing taxes in Event Espresso > Pricing.
