I have a number of sites using Event Espresso that are hosted with WP Engine. I had a notice from them saying that PHP 8 is reaching end of life on 29th October 2023 so I have to upgrade all my sites.
Can you tell me if Event Espresso is compatible with 8.2 yet? If not, I’m not sure what to do?

Hi there,
The majority of Event Espresso is compatible with PHP8.2, we are currently aware of an issue with the InfusionSoft add-on which we have an open ticket to fix but other than that I’m not aware of any issues.
We run multiple test sites using PHP8.2 and whilst there are deprecated notices from Event Espresso those won’t prevent the site from working.
So whilst I can’t guarantee everything will work 100% what we can do is fix any issues reported with PHP8.2 asap.
