Is there a way to NEVER allow comments on events. I don’t want to have to always remember to uncheck the “Allow Comments” box.

Hi,

You can go to the main WordPress Settings > Discussion page, then uncheck the box next to “Allow people to post comments on new articles”. Then click the Save button. Then going forward, all new events added will have comments turned off.
