Hi, |
Hi, In EE4 the duplicate event will copy the existing event exactly. It will not add default tickets if they are missing from the “parent” event. |
So the parent event has datetimes and tickets that are not copying. Does the event status impact this by chance? |
Hi, The event information should be copied minus sales/registration information. What is the status of the event? Expired should be okay but if it was deleted then this probably won’t work as expected. — |
Lorenzo, status was ‘inactive’, but I tried it with both an active and inactive status. Tickets wouldn’t copy. |
Hi, Are you on the latest software? Can you test on another event or a new event? — |
When I copy from within the event (which I believe is the only way to do this), I don’t even see event datetimes, or tickets show up in the copy, and I see the following in the event list: http://screencast.com/t/CPsfAsLUQxbG If I leave the event and come back in, this is what it looks like: We are on EE v.4.4.4 |

Hi, Can you turn wp_debug on please and then try to copy a new event (which has a ticket and datetime) to see if any errors appear. http://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG Please remember to note any error exactly, and to turn off wp_debug when finished as it should not be left turned on on an active site. |
Dean, I’ll need to get our developers to do this. Please stand by. |
Hi, Please update to the current software at 4.4.5. Then you can enable WP Debugging by using this macro: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/848801a1173be464fbe7 Be sure to set it to false when you are done debugging. — |
Ok, thanks. Still have to do this as we’ve been shoring up other dev items. Will let you know. |
