How come when you make a transaction, you get taken to homepage instead of “Thank You” page or some such page? The payment still gets registered with paypal, but when you pay by check, the payment is not registered. Any ideas?

Ok, the system status page says that Thank you Page is not setup. I tried to set one up by adding [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS] shortcode, but I’m still taken to homepage after payment.

Hi Cheri,
Normally it should take you to a Thank You page when you select either PayPal or the Check option. Is the Thank-you page published and does it have the [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS] shortcode on it?
As an aside, the Check payment option will normally set the registration payment to “Pending” since the payment gets handled off-line.
