Do you want to remove everything related to that event or just the registrations and keep the event?
You have 2 options for removing registrations and I’ll list both, if you need more details on either method I can do more.
Option 1 – If you want to remove everything for that event and all related data for it (registrations, payments etc) then you can trash the event in Event Espresso -> events -> {hover over event name} -> Click trash.
You’ll now see a list of Trashed events, hover over yours and click the Delete Permanently link.
EE will now scan for related data and get ready to delete. Follow the instructions to remove the data.
(Note, we have had a couple of reports of issues with this method showing multiple lines of ‘Identified 0 items for deletion.’ like THIS. If you get that, click back or close the browser, that’s an error that can happen with some setups and we’ve hardened the delete routine in the next version of EE to prevent it, we’ll be releasing that next week)
If you want to keep the event details then what I would do is duplicate the event first, then delete the original, which will save you having to manually redo the event itself.
Option 2 (much more long-winded than the previous option) – if you only want to remove just the registrations then you need to remove the payments related to each individual registration first. You do this by going to Event Espresso -> Events, hover over the event name and click the ‘Registrations’ link that appears.
You’ll now be viewing all of the registrations related to that event.
For each one you’ll need to click on the TXN Date field, view the transaction and click on the trash icon for any payments within it.
Once they have all been removed the registrations linked to that specific transaction can be deleted. You do that in the registration lick, but either hovering over them and clicking the trash link, or using the bulk options and selecting to trash them.
Trashing the just puts them into the trash, there is a trash filter at the top of the list to view those, you can them perm delete them from there.
