Hi Lorenzo, We run our classes in 6 week sessions and have 8 sessions a year in total. We also have workshops and youth and teen classes which we list under their own sections respectively. The way our site works now is as follows: EXPLORING CLAY – MONDAYS with Sarah Caruso Exploring Clay – Mondays Sarah is a full time potter and the Ceramics Studio Manager at the Falmouth Art Center. She studied ceramics at Skidmore College under Regis Brodie and Toshiko Takaezu. Sarah earned an M.S. in art education from the College of Saint Rose. Sarah has taught art classes for children and adults at various community centers and schools on the Cape and in the Metro Boston area. Does this make sense to you and if so, do you think you have any product that can do this for us? If you have a chance to look at our website it would make more sense. It is http://www.falmoutart.org. Thanks, |
Hi Debbie, here is how that could be handled in Event Espresso 3, WP User Integration, and the Multiple Event Registration add-on. All of these are included in the business support license for Event Espresso 3. By default the event listing page will show a list of all active events. You could create a new page using the Event List shortcode for a category of events such as Session 2: [EVENT_LIST category_identifier=your_category_identifier] Then another page could be created for Session 3 and those links could be added to your website’s navigation. You’ll need to add new events to the matching category so each page shows the correct events. An event category can be set through the event editor. Here is an overview of the registration checkout flow: Registrant arrives on your home page and then selects the session via the website’s navigation. They’ll then arrive on a page that shows events for that event category. Each event will have a register button or an add to cart button. If a registrant/attendee wants to register for multiple events, then they would click on the add to cart button for each event. When they are ready to checkout, then can click on view cart, then select the needed quantities and begin registration checkout. The WP User integration for Event Espresso 3 will allow you to set members pricing and standard pricing. This pricing is shown depending on the login-state of a registrant. If they are logged-in, then they’ll receive the members pricing. If they are logged out, then they will receive the standard pricing. Here is some additional feedback on your original post: The custom templates add-on does not affect registration checkout (i.e. how an attendee registers and pays for their registration). It is another way to display your event information. For example, the custom templates add-on comes with a table view template which means that your events would be listed in that format. Again, this is related to the design or layout of how the events are presented. The events calendar would be another way to display events for registration. — |
