I’ve been working with an EE4 demo site. All of our client’s users will register for events as members (i.e. they will log in to see the event list). We need to be able to have people unregister for events.
My understanding is that in EE4, we must install the WP User Integration addon. With this addon, members will be able to see a list of events they have signed up for by navigating to their profile page. At that page, they will be able to unregister via a link.
Is that right? Is there a way to have WP User Manager installed on my EE4 Demo Site (CoCoSAR) to fully test this process?
Thank you Lorenzo. Just so I know how to report to my team:
1) Since I don’t see the My Events in my profile, that is only after installing the WP User Integrations addon, right?
2) There is no way for a user (even logged in) to unregister from an event, right? This is a show stopper for us… was it a feature of EE3? There seems to be information on unregistering in the EE user forum.
1) That is correct. You will see the My Events section in your profile when you active WP User Integration.
2) No. Unregistering for an event is a manual process done by the admin in the EE dashboard. Yes. The WP User Integration add-on for EE3 allowed the attendees to unregister from the front-end. However, we are currently in the planning stages of the My Events front-end functionality for EE4.
Hi, a registrant cannot currently remove themselves from a registration in Event Espresso 4. An event admin would need to do that through the WP dashboard.
The My Events section appears at the end of the WP user profile page after the WP User Integration has been installed and activated.
