Hi,

Is it possible to choose which email templates go out per event?
That is, for event x, you send out the payment received email template and registration approved only and for event y, you send out the above plus ticket notice?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Disabling message types per event is not officially supported currently, but it is possible to do.

You can create a custom template for the message type, then disable the contexts within that custom template and select that for the event. So for example, lets say we want the Registration Approved message template disabled (it’s the same steps for all), we create a custom template – http://take.ms/FWYf4

Then give that template a description and name that you can find – http://take.ms/OKcPi

Notice the ‘TO’ field has been emptied, that is what disabled the context from sending messages. Make sure you do that for each context within a message type – http://take.ms/b2AWK

So all contexts within the message types now have the ‘To’ set to nothing.

Then select that message type within the events you don’t want to trigger the message for – http://take.ms/4QGN4

The messages are always triggered, but because that message is disabled it won’t actually send anything.

Does that work?

Hi Tony,

Thanks. This was my attempt at a work around, but wanted to check there wasn’t anything I was missing.

Thanks.
