Check in app not working as expected

First the (Ticket) email in connected to the website after it is sent and should not be. We had problems with the customers open their email and it connects to our website which causes problems. I want to see if this request was fixed.
Second, tickets are scanned but we are getting fails and we are not getting an accurate count of how many people checked in.
Third, has any one asked for a vendor registration option? Every event needs vendors and should be included in this program.

Hi there,

First the (Ticket) email in connected to the website after it is sent and should not be.

The ticket link will always be connected to the site, the ticket is generated within the browser using a Javascript library and is not directly attached to the email (Event Espresso does not support email attachments at this time).

We had problems with the customers open their email and it connects to our website which causes problems. I want to see if this request was fixed.

The problem you faced previously was due to your server being underpowered for the number of visitors, we can’t make the app/request use less resources to accommodate for that and even if we managed to, if your visitors then increase you’ll be in exactly the same situation.

I can see from your previous thread that you are using GoDaddy, may I ask which hosting package are you using with them?

We’ll need more details on this, fails on the app? When checking in? What error message is shown?

If this happened on the previous event then it’s likely due to the fact that the server couldn’t keep up with the requests.

If it’s happening on test registrations whilst the server is not under load we can investigate further.

I can check into this, can you provide more specifics on how a vendor registration option would work?
