We are based in Australia and have an Australian Stripe account. We are hosting an event in the US and want to sell tickets to an event that is charged in US dollars. Australian Stripe accounts are capable of billing customers in other currencies, (we use Stripe to bill our customers in foreign currencies through invoices we create in Xero) but I can’t find the settings in Event Espresso to choose which currency an event should be charged in. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

We are running Event Espresso 4.9.38.p

Hi there,

Currently, Event Espresso does not support multiple currencies so all events use the currency for the country you have set within:

Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Organization -> Country.

The parameters sent during the Stripe charge call are filtered which means it is possible to change the currency of the payment charged within Stripe, however, EE will show the payment as AUS in the transaction if that’s what you have set within you General Settings.
