Is there a way to change the name of a registrant after the registration is complete or even incomplete? We have a couple of people that have registered and then can’t go, so they are sending someone else in there place, so we need to change their name and other preferences for their registration. Is this possible? If so, how is this done. If not, do you have any suggestions as to how this could be handled?

Hi Sue,
You can click on a registrants/attendees name from the registrations screen. Then click on the edit button for their profile. On the next screen, you can make changes and save.

Hi Sue,
A team member brought something to my attention.
If you edit the contact information as I described above, then this will apply to ALL registrations that the attendee/registrant has made.
For example, lets say an attendee went to Event ABC. Now they have registered for Event XYZ and they can’t attend so someone else will go.
If you update the contact details, then this will change the attendee information for all registrations including Event ABC and Event XYZ.
In this case, it would be better to create a new registration through WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Events. Then hover over Registrations and click on it. On the next screen, click on Add New Registration.
From there, you can return to the original registration and set it to cancelled.
