I am really not very keen on the layout of the events page. Is it possible to do the following (could you guide me on which files to alter if needed):
Under details hide sale dates
Show the dates differently. Is there a tabular view for this or calendar?
Move the description to the top.
Move the location under the tickets.

Those last two can be changed (moved) in the Event Espresso > Events > Template settings. You’ll find some opens there that let you arrange the order that the main events page elements display in.
Hiding the sale dates can be done by adding some CSS to your custom stylesheet, and there’s a plugin that you can install to change the display of the dates. Here’s a link to that plugin:
