Hey there, As you recommended I tried the Poedit tool, and it worked for many of the changes I wanted to make, but not all. I’ve noticed that there are some spellings errors that are causing this, or text has been updated in your plugin but not in your Poedit file. For example: POEDIT FILE: The following events require attendee pre-approval and will not be billed during this transaction. Billing will only occur after the attendee has been approved by the event organizer. If this is a free event, then no billing will occur. PLUGIN: POEDIT FILE: PLUGIN: Is there a simple way for me to change all these. I also want to change the text on things like: “Goes On Sale” or “(USD)/ ticket” And to remove all this info: This Ticket Sold |
Hi Steve, What version of Event Espresso are you running? — |
|
|
EE4 |
What is the version number that is shown in WordPress Plugins? — |

Version 4.3.1.p |
Hi, It looks like the translations list needs to be refreshed for Event Espresso 4. I’ll ask a team member to check into this. Until then, we can change the text using a gettext filter. Please provide an example of the existing text and the updated text and I’ll share a specific example. — |

I tried Loco Translate plugin and it solved this problem for me |
Was it this plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ I haven’t used it before and it looks very helpful. — |

Yes it does the same thing as POEdit but it does it on wordpress and you don’t have to keep an updated list. |

Thanks for that Steve, that’s certainly a plugin to add to our list. |
