Changing templates being called – People Single page

Hello,

Wondering where I would change the default template files that are being called on the Single Person page? The site is calling for “single-espresso_people” template but it’s being overridden by the “single” post template which I want to remove from being applied to the Single person post type.

Also can’t seem to find the Single person template file in the site directory to modify, please assist.

Hi there,

You’d actually make this change in your WordPress theme. You make a template and name it single-espresso_people.php and WordPress will load it instead of the single.php template.
