Josh, please give me your advice, there has to be a simpler way of editing a wretched button text! I already have the custom functions plugin https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-calendar/tw_calendar_tooltip_reg_btn_html_str_replace.php and expected this to be simple. It did not work. I downloaded PoEdit & USEnglish files, PoEdit says it cant open or read the file. I’m assuming this is operator error on my part so I need help please.

Hi there,
I’ve just updated the snippet you linked to, please copy the code from the above link and try again, that is the easiest method to change that text if you are not already translating the site.

Hi Tony, can you help me with the same change for the photo grid. on the mask that pops up over an image in the grid, the Register now text is text not a button so the code looks like it needs to be different. Many thanks.

Hi,
You’ll go to edit the page that has the photo grid, find this shortcode:
[ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE]
then add a parameter to change the button text:
[ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE button_text="your text"]
