Hello folks,
I have 2 languages in my website (French and English).
We decided to create category to better sort the events by language instead of using the system language…
Is there a way to take all the events that We created in english language and transfer them in French ? in bulk? Is is a variable in the Database that I could change ? Thanks a lots.

Hi there,

I don’t quite follow your question, are you asking if there’s a way to change the event category for all the events to another category? If so, yes the relationship between an event post and an event category is stored in the database. You can take a look in the wp_terms table to see the all of the categories/terms (including event categories) and get their IDs. Then, the relationship between the term and the posts are stored in the wp_term_relationships table.

I’m sorry Josh. Sometimes it’s difficult to explain here. It’s all related to my calendar. We need to display calendar filter by language of course. And I’ve been recommended to use event category(French,English) When we Add a category in the EVENT Category it’s showing only in French Event. ( when we are in an english EVENT, we can’t click on the category English because it’s not there… only in French). It’s like if the Event see the category in French.

It sounds like you need to add an “English” Event Category to the list of categories.
