Hi,

I am really out of practice for this one.

Here is the image of a page (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ikqayah7k9dnd13/ask.jpg?dl=0). It is now lined up as such
1)Event registration
2)Event place and time
3)Event post aka description

I want to change the sequence to be 3, 1, 2 instead. I have taken a look at the forums and went to the pages (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-themes-templates/) and (https://eventespresso.com/topic/changing-event-details-order/). I cannot even find the helper file that is stated there.

Using Version 4.6.31.p. Terribly afraid to upgrade although i have the license. worried about the changes that the previous developer have done.

(4) I want to also modify the button. Which css class is it?

Hi there,

Whilst it is possible to reorder the details using template files, we added an option to re-order the event details the way you are requesting without modifying any templates in version 4.8.21.p:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/#4.8.21

Add option to reorder the elements of the event details

This added an option within the admin that looks like this – http://take.ms/RfgTk

Whilst I do understand why you would be cautious of updating if another developer has been working on the site, the longer your remain on that version the more issues like this you will run into (requesting a feature we have already implemented in a future version of EE)

We provide support for the latest versions of EE so the best course of action to take here is to update EE, however you can do that away from view of the sites visitors by first creating a development copy of the site and updating to the latest version there first. This allows you test the new version without disrupting the live site and you can see if any of the modifications made by the previous developer cause further problems.

(4) I want to also modify the button. Which css class is it?

The easest way to find that is using Chrome Dev tools or similar (most browsers have the same feature now).

Right/Secondary click on the element you want to style and select ‘Inspect Element’ – http://take.ms/OfQCb

In this case I would use .ticket-selector-submit-btn
