We were recently experimenting with the email function within Event Espresso registrations (being able to send individual or bulk messages to people registered for events). A test email was sent to our office–we were able to put in a customized message within a predefined format, which included a contact section at the bottom of the page. This was useful, but we need to change the email address that was automatically entered in this form. I can’t find where to go in and make that alteration, however. If someone could please direct me to where I can make this update, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Each message template within Event Espresso can be customized individually however it depends how you are triggering the messages as to which template you need to edit.
As your sending a bulk message it sounds like you are using the ‘batch’ message type. By default the contact section for that message type will use the [CO_EMAIL] shortcode which parses to the email set within:
Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Organization -> Primary Contact Email
You can either change the email set there (which will change the email used for any template using [CO_EMAIL]) or edit the batch template within:
Then change the [CO_EMAIL] shortcode to whatever you prefer – http://take.ms/ZTdnQ
