Is there a way to change an already registered attendee with multiple tickets, who has already paid, to a different ticket option, and have them just pay the difference (ideally being sent some type of email with amount due and linking to the payment processor)? For reference we’re on EE3, multi-ticketing, and use a business PayPal account. |
Hi, try these steps: 1) Login to your PayPal account an request the balance due. 2) Login to your WP dashboard and go to the Event Espresso and then Event Overview. 3) Locate your event and click on the attendee count which looks like this: 5/25. 4) On the next screen, look for the registrant and click on their name 5) You’ll now be viewing their registration record. On the left side of the screen, change their ticket option and save. — |

Thanks Lorenzo! Is there a way to do this all from the EE3 side, and not have to go through PayPal every time we need to change someone’s registration to a different package or ticket? For instance, can I change them on the EE side and have the system send them an invoice or request for balance due? Thanks! |
Hi, another idea is to cancel the existing registration and then manually register the new one but that seems like more steps since you would need to re-enter the attendees along with payments. — |

Hi Lorenzo — thanks! I’m going through the original process you outlined, except when you get to step 5, there is no ticket option to change on the left side of the screen. It’s a multi ticket registration too. I don’t know if that changes anything. I am clicking on the primary attendee’s record under the ticket I want to change from one ticket to a different package. |
Hi JREF, The steps that Lorenzo outlined about (specifically with step 5) will work only if the event itself has multiple ticket options. If you’re looking to move an attendee from one event to another event, we offer the Attendee reassignment add-on for EE3 in the pre-release channel. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/attendee-re-assignment-add-on/ You can download this from your account page *after* you click the box on your account page to opt in to the pre-release channel. |

Hi Josh, Thanks! My confusion is that we do have a multi-ticketed event, so I’m confused as to why I’m not seeing the option the Lorenzo describes in Step 5. Please advise! Thanks! |
Hi Anna, Could you grab a screenshot of the edit attendee record screen and share here? We don’t need to see any personal information but it would be helpful to see the event details (lower left area of screen). https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots — |
