We have our registrations set up as default “Not Approved.” So once someone fills out an application, they see “Not Approved” as opposed to “Registration Pending” or some other similar note. This can be confusing for applicants. Is there any way to change this in the system?
You could apply that filter and then change Replace Me to some updated messaging that clarifies that their status is set to not approved while it is being reviewed.
To answer your other question, they need to remain on this status because registration pending payment would allow them to pay and if they paid, then they would be “approved.”
We are using not approved for one event, and we are already using the gist filter to display the following language on the payment options page:
Important Notice: The following events do not require payment at this time and will not be billed during this transaction. Billing will only occur after the attendee has been approved by the event organizer. You will be notified when your registration has been processed.
Unfortunately, there isn’t as if that text is changed, then it will apply sitewide.
