I am trying to apply a promotion code to a group I registered for an upcoming event. I had a coupon for $125 that should have been applied to all 5 registrations. It applied a total discount of $125. I tried to create a second promo code that would cover what should have been the full amount, which worked, but I can’t seem to be able to delete the first coupon code or edit the price of the second to account for it. How would I do that?

Hi there,

Event Espresso currently does not have the functionality to apply promotions to registrations, so a $125 promotion code would apply a $125 discount to the subtotal of the event it applied to rather than each individual registration on the event.

To answer your question you can’t edit/delete a promotion that has been applied to a registration. Currently the only way to do this would be to create a new promotion for the correct amount, re-register onto the event and input the correct details then apply the new promotion to the transaction.

After that, cancel the original registrations and use the ‘new’ ones moving forward.
