Okay, so I followed the directions found here (https://eventespresso.com/topic/single-event-page-template/) and changed the single event template from the standard blog-post. Now when I attempt to add a featured image to my events, I’m getting this: https://cl.ly/3B2e2y0k3F1G and it does not save the image to the post. I can roll it back, but I really need the post template to not be the same as the blog. Also, I’ve noticed that the theme customization widget is not showing up on the single page editing interface either, when it normally does, even on the blog posts. I’m using h-code theme on hrgirlfriends.com

Hi there,
The code from the linked thread doesn’t run within the admin so it shouldn’t change the media brwoser at all.
So you created a single-espresso_events.php template from page.php?
If so you can rename single-espresso_events.php to something different to disable it, single-espresso_events-temp.php for example would do it, however again that template is only used on the front end, it shouldn’t make any difference at all in the admin.

I’m not sure what this is, I’m assuming a feature of your theme and in which case the theme may be setting which post types that widget supports.
Can you send me a copy of the theme so I can install it on a test site? You’ll need to host the themes zip file from ThemeForest (on dropbox for example) and send me the link so I can download it, if you don’t want to post that link here you can use support[at]eventespresso.com
Note – the issues mentioned above sound like an issue with the theme rather than EE so you will likely need to create a ticket with them, but I’m more than happy to take a look.
