Hello team,

We changed the datetimes for multiple sub-events of an event to adjust for a cancelled date.

Now the ticket that should be currently available is not showing when you click Register (no tickets at all though correct dates for remaining events are showing).

The event with the problem is first on the list: Brookline Larz Anderson Saturday: https://baystateskatingschool.org/classes/register/. When you click Register you’ll see no tickets. Ticket ID 1728, “7 weeks- child (age: 4-18)” should be showing as the On Sale date is Sat Dec 28, 11:35am and Ends Sat Jan 4, 11:35am.

Relevant info?
The event has 8 classes/datetimes. 44 tickets were sold. After the first class, the second class was cancelled. We changed the datetimes to shift the remaining upcoming classes to one week later. We checked to make sure ticket assignments were still lined up with the right events and had new sale times. And yes, we clicked Update. 🙂

We did ADD a couple of datetimes first before realising that we should just change the remaining datetimes and tickets. We changed datetimes and deleted extra ones and what shows on the back end all looks correct. We don’t know how/what we messed up.

1. Can you help us figure out why the ticket that should currently be on sale is not appearing?

Made a Loom for you, if that helps to see our backend: https://www.loom.com/share/87422165e2204331b1b54877a08c1a07?sid=225ab8dd-74b0-4b09-ba69-b315a03b1fbe

But also happy to send login details – just let me know what you want.

2. Is directly changing dates and times and ticket sale times the correct way to adjust for an event cancellation and push all dates a week forward so that previous purchased tickets will match new dates? (I can’t see to find confirmation of this in the documentation or support forum.) We want to be sure we do it correctly in future to avoid whatever happened here.

Thanks, Caryn

Hi Caryn,

Ok, so first, yes, editing them the way you have is fine and everything in your video that I could see.. looks valid and correct!

You currently hide all of your ‘Upcoming’ tickets from view using CSS, which is fine but just noting here that if I use my browser to alter the CSS I can view tickets for weeks 6-3:

Meaning the ticket selector is loading the other 4 tickets correctly, it’s ‘just’ your active ticket that doesn’t load.

Everything looks like it should be loading that ticket, do you have any custom code for filtering tickets at all?
