The columns are actually from your theme’s archive.php template & CSS. The theme may have a theme setting to change the number of columns. If it does not have an option like that, then the columns could be changed by applying CSS. The theme’s support documentation may have some information on how to do that.
Also, the venue list only shows 10 venues whereas more than 100 in the system.
The number of posts per page is controlled by the Blog pages show at most setting located on the WordPress > Settings > Reading admin page.
