This used to work before but it doesn’t right now for some reason. When I move a registration from one event to another, even if I check “trigger notifications”, no message is created by EE4.
Could you please check from your side if that still works?
I’ve tested this on a couple of test sites which gave the same results as above (no messages were triggered) and have created a ticket for our developers to investigate further.
Currently after moving the registration you can click to resend the registration messages from within the registrations list for the new event.
