Change Ticket Attendee Contact Info (2)

Hello,

Our users can buy multiple tickets to an event, on for them selves and then for others. In some cases they do this one at time and when they do this the default attendee fields were pre-populated and the users “purchased” the tickets with the primary contact info. We have now removed this pre-populated (with your help) but now we have to update the attendee information. Can we do this without changing the contact info for the registrations? Its seems that when we update the contact info we do it for all the tickets.

Hi there,

If the registration was for a primary registrant, then if you edit the contact info it will change the contact info. If the registration was an additional registrant, you can go in to edit the registration and you’ll see a “Create Contact” button in the Contact Details box. You can click that button to make a new contact for that registrant.

There’s one other WP User add-on setting you should be aware of:
Always sync contact information with WP user profile?
If your use case involves one logged in user registering for others, you should set this option to No to avoid the original contact from being overwritten.
