Greetings. Some of our customers are very confused thinking they need a PayPal account. We would like to customize the text in the box that now says “After clicking ‘Finalize Registration’, you will be forwarded to PayPal website to Login and make your payment.” I have searched and haven’t found any answers that doesn’t seem to involves something pretty complex. Is there a relatively easy way to change/edit that particular text? Thank you.

Hi there,
Thats the default description for the PayPal Express payment method.
Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> PayPal Express -> Descripion.
That will allow you to change the text there.
However, I would recommend moving over to use PayPal Commerce, its the latest integration method we offer with PayPal and allows for the most PayPal features.
