I want to do the same exact thing as is described here:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/change-sold-out-text-to-full/

But when I use that code, nothing changes. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

The string you’re actually trying to change is Sold Out

So you’ll include the following in your translation function:
'Sold Out' => 'Full',
