Hello Team – Referencing this support link: https://eventespresso.com/topic/change-attendee-name-in-multiple-registration/ I would not find this button. Likely a setting or Hook I am missing.
If a Someone pays for an Event and registers themselves instead of the person they wanted we need to add a new Contact or Create a New Contact for that Transaction/REgistration. Please advise any work arounds.

Hi,
Was the registration only a single registration for that transaction? If so there’s no Create a new contact button because the button only displays for additional attendees registered for within one transaction.
If there’s already a contact that would be overwritten if you were to edit the contact on the registration, then what you could do is add a new registration, input the correct attendee information, and cancel the original registration.

So as an example someone purchased 10 registrations and set 10 different people. If I pick one of the registrations say 2/10 it brings me to that persons info. I need to change that person to another person all together, but all that is avaialble is the “View Edit Contact” not “Create New” Is there something that needs to be done to enable this button?

No the button only comes up if the contact for attendee 1 and attendee 2 is an exact match. When you look at attendee 1’s contact, is it the same as attendee 2’s contact or are they different?
