Hi,
I need to do 2 things. Instead of Last Name and First Name, which is always confusing for us here, I want to combine it to ONE name and put a remark to put the name as per ID. I also want to collect the ID of the person registering.
How can I do this 2 things?

Hi there,
EE expects the First Name and Last Name to be separate, you can disable Last Name and rename the ‘First Name’ question to be ‘Full Name’ if you want to but again note that in some places its expected the names will be split.
To do that go to:
Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Question Groups -> Person Information
Uncheck ‘Last Name’ to remove last name from the group – http://take.ms/iGSE1
Click save and close.
Now go to the ‘Questions’ tab. Find the ‘First Name’ question and edit that, change the question text to Full Name and save.
Now test a registration and confirm that’s what you want.
To add your own question within the question tab click ‘Add new question’ and create your ID question.
You’ll need to add that to a question group (for example the Personal Information group from before) for it to display.
