Thanks for the post info ‘Change Event Layout (Event Description before Ticket Options)’ however the template files provided do not mix at all with my theme. Can I insert various elements in a copy of my own single.php file with code from events espresso to display correctly?
Or is there an even better way now? This seems tedious.

Is this a theme similar to a WP default theme in regards to coding or is it a theme framework similar to Genesis or Thesis?

Hi Christina,
Yes, you can. You can copy single.php from your theme and re-name the copy to single-espresso_events.php. Then you can use any of the template tags listed under the event view:
