i created events using my admin acct. but now i need to assign the event to another user? how can i do this?

Hi Gabriel,
Currently there isn’t a way to do this without modifying the database, which we do not recommend. May I ask what you are trying to accomplish with doing this?

I need the event promotor to only see his event when Logging into site But also when using ticketing app?
Problem is i created event with my admin acct

Is it possible to for an event promotor to only see events created by their USER on the ticketing iphone app?
I dont want them to see other events just theirs?

Hi Gabriel,
Currently there is not a way to restrict access to events on the mobile apps. For the previous question, the only way to “assign” the event to someone else would be to create a duplicate event under the other user’s account. However, this may not work for you if registrations are already live.

If i create my own iphone app with the your json api can i then restrict access to users, so that they only see events created by them and nobody else’s?

Hi Gabriel,
Custom designing an app will of course enable you to have free reign, but depending on what data you want people to access you may also need to customise the ticketing add on as well.
