change date format in backend

i tried this:

to get my date format to dd.mm.yyyy but it didnt help… I want to change the format on the edit-events pages…

is this possible?

furthermore I copy a lot of events and found out that i need to adjust the “sales period” times always again. is it possible to set the sales period automatically until 1h after the start of an event?

is is also possible to deactivate comments everywhere?

The snippet you’ve linked to uses a hook fired on the reg form so its for the front end.

For the event editor you need a snippet like this:

We don’t currently have an option for this within EE.

is is also possible to deactivate comments everywhere?

Comments are actually a standard WordPress feature rather than an EE feature, to disable them everywhere you can install this plugin:
